THE LOVELY BONES

My response is that there is a girl named Susie salmon and she is 14 years old. She is a smart student and one day she took a short cut home from school through the cornfield while it was in the dark. Mr. Harvey startled her when she wasn’t paying attention in the cornfield. Mr. Harvey lured Susie into a hiding place he made in the ground. Susie goes with him. Susie tried to leave but he blocks the door with his body.

Mr. Harvey is a serial killer and has killed a lot of people throughout his life. When he was younger he had a lot of events that made him a murderer through his life. He had a bad childhood life. Mr. Harvey is very dangerous because of his young childhood. The mood is about sad on how Susie dies and she had her first kiss before she died.

The theme of this book is a good vs. evil. It is a good vs. evil because he was a serial killer and then he changed to a monster killing a younger girls and women. He is a bad man with deep emotional and danger to any young girl or women. The father did not give up until he found out who was the killer.Susie is the main character of the story that gets raped and murdered. Jack salmon susie's father feels bad because he hasn't protected susie when she needed him. Ray was susie's soul mate. Len fenerman is the detective who investigates susie's case. Samuel Heckler is the life saver for susie because he is always helping her in any way he can. the climax is a major turning point that allows the protaganist to resolve the conflict. Susie's greatest wish came true because she kissed Ray. The outcome of the story is that the carry on with there lifes and accepts susie's death.
